View larger. |  The Lowrance iFinder H2O provides compact, waterproof GPS navigation. | Folks with a zest for detail will appreciate the iFinder H2O's dual processors, which let you scroll quicker and receive faster screen updates. In addition, Lowrance included both easy and advanced navigation modes to ensue efficient navigation for beginners and simplify operation for everyone else. Data-wise, the unit supports up to 1,000 waypoints, 1,000 event markers, and 100 routes, along with 40 map zoom ranges (from 0.02 to 4,000 miles) and 42 graphic icons for marking special spots. Thanks to the MMC/SD card slot, the device can save and retrace up to 100 of your favorite plot trails, with up to 10,000 points in each any trail. The iFinder H2O comes with a custom built-in map, is waterproof to IPX7 standards, and comes with a port for connecting an optional external GPS+WAAS antenna (not included) for even greater versatility. A three-inch white LED backlit screen with 240 x 180 resolution and Film SuperTwist technology for high visibility from virtually any angle even in direct sunlight makes the iFinder H2O easy to read in virtually any situation. The iFinder H20 is also compatible with Lowrance's optional MapCreate 6 custom mapping software, which offers a full set of searchable land features, including landmarks, streets, addresses, shopping areas, and points of interest. Users will need to load the mapping information on a compatible MMC or SD digital memory card, however (the iFinder H20 accepts cards as large as 512 MB). Other electronic maps and charts that work with the iFinder Pro include FreedomMaps, Fishing Hot Spots, LakeMaster Pro Maps, NauticPath USA, and Navionics. Additional features include an internal back-up memory and a cigarette plug power adapter for car trips.
